How gambling is being normalised for women

About the resource

When gambling becomes part of everyday life

Discover how social norms, technology, marketing, and everyday exposure are making gambling increasingly accepted and difficult to avoid for women.

This research was conducted virtually across Ngunnawl Country (the Australian Capital Territory)(ACT) and Wurundjeri Country (Melbourne, Victoria). We acknowledge and pay our respect to their elders past and present.

Thank you to  the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission for funding this research to prioritise responses to the normalisation of gambling for women.
