Gambling and young women

About the resource

Understanding the normalisation of gambling among young women

Learn how family traditions, social networks, gambling environments, and marketing contribute to gambling becoming a normal part of young women's lives.

This research was conducted virtually across Ngunnawl Country (the Australian Capital Territory)(ACT) and Wurundjeri Country (Melbourne, Victoria). We acknowledge and pay our respect to their elders past and present.

Thank you to  the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission for funding this research to prioritise responses to the normalisation of gambling for women.
